Police District Advisory Council
PDAC is a group of citizens representing various civic, community and Town Watch groups who act as an Advisory Council to the District Commander. This group meets monthly with the Captain to discuss the concerns of their constituency to the police and bring information from the police back to the community.

The PDAC supports the police by:
· acting as community advisors to the Captain
· engaging in efforts to improve the morale of the police officers
· encourage positive exposure of the 2nd District officers to the public

Bicycle Identification Keeping Effort
2nd District currently has a bicycle anti theft program. Bicycle registration is publicised in the local papers. Persons who reside in the 2nd district may take their bicycles to the published locations for registration. This registration is then entered into a data base to assist police in the identification and recovery of a stolen bicycle.
