he Philadelphia Police Department is determined to leverage
the best technologies available in the war on crime. We currently
use a vast array of premium grade technology to assist us in
this effort. These tools encompass a broad spectrum of applications.
They include resources designed to train the best officers in
the country and tools to identify the perpetrators of crime.
Those listed are just some of the technologies currently deployed
and used by members of the Philadelphia Police Department. In
some cases we have included information about emerging technologies
that we are in the process of customizing and deploying to the
field.
